Refund policy

At E. M. Threads, each item is made-to-order specifically for you. Because of this, we have a limited return and refund policy designed to protect both our customers and our business.
1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL (WITH EXCEPTIONS BELOW)
Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Incorrect size selection
- Change of mind
- Incorrect shipping address provided by customer
- Buyer’s remorse
Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase!
2. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
We stand behind our products. If you receive an item that is:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Misprinted
- Incorrect (wrong item sent)
We will replace or refund the item at no cost to you.
To be eligible:
- You must contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide:
- Order number
- Clear photos of the issue (required)

We reserve the right to determine whether an item qualifies as defective.
3. LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
Once your order is shipped, it is in the hands of the carrier.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages marked as “delivered.”
- If your package is lost in transit (not marked delivered), we will assist in filing a claim.
We recommend:
- Double-checking your shipping address
- Using a secure delivery location
4. SHIPPING ADDRESS ERRORS
Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address.
If an incorrect address is provided:
- We are not responsible for replacement or refund
- If the item is returned to us, reshipping fees will apply
5. ORDER MODIFICATIONS & CANCELLATIONS
Because orders are processed quickly:
- Orders cannot be changed or canceled once submitted
- We are not responsible for customer errors after checkout
6. SIZING DISCLAIMER
All products include sizing information.
We are not responsible for sizing issues, as all items are made-to-order.
If you're unsure, we strongly recommend reviewing the size chart before purchasing.
7. COLOR & PRINT VARIATION DISCLAIMER
Due to differences in:
- Screen displays
- Printing processes
- Fabric types
Actual product colors and print placement may vary slightly.
These are not considered defects.
8. CHARGEBACKS & FRAUD PREVENTION
We reserve the right to:
- Dispute any chargebacks with evidence (including order confirmation, tracking, and delivery confirmation)
- Refuse service to customers who abuse refund policies
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
E. M Threads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
